A Belvedere
Look up the word. Look at famous examples through history.
Select a beautiful site worthy of a beautiful view.
Find the site in Google Earth. Zoom into the area in which you want to place your belvedere.
Open Sketchup and select "Tools" "Google Earth" and "Get Current View"
Design a belvedere for the site using Sketchup. To see the Google Earth photo, you need to use the "Shaded with Textures" face style in Sketchup.
In Sketchup:
Add color to the belvedere.
Turn shadows on.
Put in perspective mode.
Create several "scenes" - select "View" "Animation" "Add Scene."
Export the animation to an AVI file.
Open Power Point. Insert the AVI file as a "Movie" in a PP Presentation. Add slides for other explanatory text or illustrations and add music or sounds to the presentation.
Defend your choice of site and your design before your peers by showing your PP presentation.
Project due one week from today.
