Sheet Sets:

A "Sheet Set" is a ___.DST file which contains list of drawings and their layouts which can be easily viewed, selected for editing, and plotted as a group. It is a way of getting some consistency into making and editing drawings. It is particularly useful in a large office where several people are working on the same project. The Sheet Set allows one to "check out' a drawing for editing, preventing anyone else from doing so at the same time, and everyone knows who has the drawing open. It also helps in creating new drawing because they are always created from a pre-set template, which is part of the sheet set.

Sheet sets can be useful for small sets of drawings, or even for a single drawing with multiple layouts, because it allows plotting of all layouts, it keeps track of what layouts form the drawing "set," and it places them in an order (that the user determines), and allows for quick previews of the layouts without opening them.
