Quiz Information
Return to ClassroomReturn to Classroom

There is a quiz that corresponds to each chapter covered in the class. Therefore, you will be taking six quizzes. The lowest quiz score will be dropped, so only the best five quiz scores will count toward your final grade. Here are the quiz guidelines:

1. All quizzes are on WebCT. You must log into your WebCT in order to take a quiz.
2. The quizzes are in a multiple-choice format and contain 10 questions.
3. You are allowed to use your graphing calculator and any formulas and tables from your textbook on all quizzes. Have your materials organized and ready before taking the quiz.
4. The quizzes are timed. You have 40 minutes from start to finish to complete a quiz.
5. Each quiz has a deadline. You will not be able to complete a quiz once the deadline has passed. Any untaken quiz will receive a score of zero. Please refer to the agenda in the classroom for specific quiz due dates.
6. There is a practice quiz in our course on WebCT. You may take the practice as many times as you want. It has nothing to do math and you are not graded on it, but it wil give you some practice in using the quizzing function in WebCT.

Since the quizzes are timed, please be sure that you are prepared to take the quiz. Once the clock starts, you cannot stop. There are NO makeups for quizzes.
