Anthropology is the study of humanity - our physical characteristics as animals, and our unique non-biological characteristics we call culture.

Community studies are an academic field drawing on both Sociology and Anthropology and the social research methods of ethnography and participant observation in the study of community.

Community Studies

Criminology is the system of law enforcement, the bar, the judiciary, corrections, and probation that is directly involved in the apprehension, prosecution; defense, sentencing, incarceration, and supervision of those suspected of or charged with criminal offenses.

Criminal Justice

The study of philosophy develops our ability to make sense of ourselves and our surroundings.  Philosophers apply critical thinking to questions of values and beliefs in order to understand reality, clarify the nature of interactions between individuals and society, and come to terms with the problems of existence and ultimate values. 

Philosophy

There is no single path that will prepare you for a legal education. Students who are successful in law school, and who become accomplished professionals, come from many walks of life and educational backgrounds.

According to the Association of American Geographers, Geography is the science of place and space. Geographers ask where things are located on the surface of the earth, why they are located where they are, how places differ from one another, and how people interact with the environment.

The discipline trains both the mind and the imagination of those who study it. History imparts the vital skills of discernment and synthesis through critical thinking, reading, and writing skills. In particular, History confronts students with worlds, times, places, and cultures-including their own-in ways they never before considered.

Intercultural Studies are an academic field drawing on History, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and Humanities. Courses are designed to help students to develop cultural knowledge, analyze similarities and differences between cultures (ethnic, racial, gender, social class, etc) and their relations.

Intercultural Studies

Sociology is the study of human social behavior, especially the study of the origins, organization, institutions, and development of human society.   It is an analysis of a social institution or societal segment as a self-contained entity or in relation to society as a whole.

Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior, mental processes, and how they are affected and/or affect individuals or group's physical state, mental state, and external environment.

It's goal is to describe, understand, predict, and modify behavior.
