  1. Internet Access/Browser—Internet Access and a 28.8 modem (or higher). You will also need a browser: Netscape version 4.77 or 4.67 (4.76 can be downloaded from Netcape 4.76 Downloads) or Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or higher). Please note that WebCT tends to work best with Netscape 4.77 or 4.76.

  2. WebCT User ID and Password—Important! You will need a WebCT ID and Password to access various portions of this course. WebCT Instructions and ID/Password information.

  3. Microsoft Word—You will need a word processing program—use Microsoft Word.

  4. Scanner—or access to a scanner. Many assignments will require that you scan the final copy and submit electronically. If you do not know how to scan, a "general" scanning tutorial is available through Triton's Training and Technology Center's online tutorials' site: Online Training Modules, Tutorials.

  5. RealPlayer™ — This course includes several audio/video files which will require a device for viewing. The audio/video files are saved in Real Media format. If you do not have a RealPlayer installed on your computer, you can download the RealPlayer ONE for FREE.

  6. Flash 5 Player—This course includes several Flash files. You will need the flash player installed on your computer to view the files. Most Netscape 4.0+ and Internet Explorer 4.0+ browsers include the player; however, if you click on a flash file and the file does not launch you will need to download the Flash player. The Flash player is FREE http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/
