Agenda for Week One
Welcome
Welcome
to the Fundamentals of Architectural Drafting - ARC 109. This course
is designed for the beginning Architecture or Interior Design student.
Through this course you will develop the fundamental manual drafting
skills that will be needed in your future Architecture/Interior
Design classes. You will learn to write and draw like an Architect/Interior
Designer.
Architects
and Interior Designers communicate their ideas through their drawings.
Through this class you will master the techniques needed to successfully
communicate your design ideas to your client and you will begin
to develop the drawing skills need to produce the drawings used
by the contractor to build the finished design.
We will emphasize
architectural lettering and linework so that at the end of this
7-week class you will demonstrate mastery of these essential skills.
