Center
of Vision (C) -
The center axis within the viewers field of vision.
Cone
of Vision (COV) -
The view captured within the viewer's field of vision.
Ground
Line (GL)-
The intersection of the picture plane and the ground plane.
Horizon
Line (HL)-
The intersection of the picture plane and a horizontal plane through
the eye of the viewer based on the height of the viewer.
Measure
Line -
The only true-scale line in a perspective drawing. The measure line
is located on the picture plane. In the common method vertical measuring
lines are used.
Perspective
Drawings -
3
dimensional drawing that is constructed using vanishing points.
Station
Point -
Locates the fixed point of the viewer. It should be off-center to
avoid a static view.
Two
Point Perspective -
3-dimensional drawing that uses two vanishing points. Mainly used
for exterior views.
Vanishing
Point -
VP Points at which parallel lines appear to meet in perspective.
