in the Online Environment
- The links
provided in the left hand column are for your benefit. Access
and read all the information provided under each link. Become
familiar with the course site so that navigation is not an issue.
- Read and
be aware of all due dates
so you can plan time accordingly. Check the "Schedule"
link often for updates!
- Online classes
generally require more effort from the student. Set up a schedule
that will work for you. Students should be online a minimum of
three to five times a week checking
course information.
- Studying
for quizzes and exams is definitely important to the student's
success in this course.
- If you have
questions regarding course assignments or material, contact the
instructor immediately for clarification.

provides a text-only version of the course. Designed for internet
reading devisesadheres to ADA compliance requirements.
Academic
Integrity:
provides Triton's policy on Academic Integrity/Honesty.
Start
Link:
available via the course home page. It is important that the student
visit each element under the Start link before proceeding any further
with the course. This link provides access to the Sign-in form,
information regarding how to begin the course, site navigation description,
general course overview, animated site tour, and an update profile
link.
Syllabus:
provides information regarding the course grading system, required
course tools, and an overview of course procedures.
Schedule:
provides the due dates for this course. Note: You may wish
to print this page; check this feature regularly for new postings
(must have WebCT user id/password to
activate).
Classroom:
provides a schematic overview of the course. The Classroom link
contains a Course Map and is the most important part of the course.
All assignments, associated assignment
files, and tests are handled via links from the Classroom section
of this course.
Instructor:
provides Instructor contact information and an audio/video
introduction to the course.
Resources:
provides
links to academic resources and tutorials.
Grades:
provides online access to your grades. Your grades are password
protected (must have WebCT user id/password
to activate). In this course you are free to work at your
own pace; however, assignments and quizzes/tests must be posted
by their due dates. Tests will only be available at the specified
testing timesee the course Schedule for due date information.
